The Practice

Design as a structural argument

We don't decorate buildings — we reason through them. Every project starts with load paths, light, and how people actually move through a space, before it becomes a facade.

Founded in Leipzig's Plagwitz district — a neighborhood rebuilt from its own industrial shell — ROHWERK designs residential, cultural, and adaptive-reuse buildings across Saxony. We work in small teams, stay involved from first sketch to final inspection, and never hand a project off to someone who wasn't in the room for the concept.
